The Rainbow Spinner, created for the Minnesota Children’s Museum Tip Top Terrace, 2018

Description: The Rainbow Spinner does not have a battery, but a solar powered gear. It only spins when the sun is out, delighting all ages with the color changing on the pavement, created by one stationary and one moving color layer. For a 2 week residency, I had kiddos make shapes - viusalizing their star energy, and explained that we are all made, and everything on earth is made, but energy from our sun.
